Privacy policy

Who we are

This website is run by Mica Shield Project LLC, South Al Khuwair, Bousher, Muscat Governorate, Sultanate of Oman (CR 1591995). For anything about your data, email info@mica-shield.com.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive your name, company, email address, phone number (if you give it), the service you are interested in and your message.

Like any web server, our hosting provider records technical logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

We use contact form details only to reply to you and to prepare a proposal if you ask for one. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your IP address is also used briefly to limit how many messages one connection can send, to stop spam.

Where it is stored

Form messages are delivered to our business email, hosted by Google Workspace. The website is hosted by HostGator. Both providers may process data outside Oman under their own security and privacy terms.

Cookies and third parties

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Some features load content from other companies only when you use them: the map on the Contact page loads from Google Maps when you scroll to it, the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, and Trustpilot links open Trustpilot. Their own privacy policies apply.

If we turn on Google Analytics to count visits, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep contact messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to manage any work that follows, and then delete them.

Your rights

Under Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree 6/2022) you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email info@mica-shield.com and we will reply.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, strict security headers and server side validation on every form field. If you think you have found a security issue on this website, please tell us at info@mica-shield.com. See also our security.txt file.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
